Please save the dates: Jan Nevelius Sensei, 6th dan Aikikai, will be teaching two weekend seminars in the US this March - March 9-11 in New Orleans, LA, hosted by NOLA Aikido Dojo; and March 16-18 in New York City, NY, hosted by Aikido in the Schools. Please follow the link to the "Save the Date" flyer; an updated flyer with full details will be posted in a few weeks. Hope to see you there!

Any idea on the seminar's general theme or topic? I'm assuming the topic will be his soft ukemi/ connection but I wanted to make sure before registering.

Best,
Iplan

My apologies for the late reply!

I imagine that Nevelius Sensei will be adjusting the specific topics offered at the seminar according to his feeling of what the folks in attendance would best benefit from. But, to my knowledge, he has always brought a strong emphasis on ukemi and connection into his teaching, so it is safe to assume that these will be present in the material covered during the seminar.

I'm really looking forward to the weekend.
