Re: Article: Overcome Bullying through Calmness

I was bullied as a child. I was taught to stand up for myself, not take any crap, tell the truth about my feelings as they came up and never compromise my integrity.
I have been percieved as a bully ever since, even though I have Never put anybody down, told tham how and why they are inadequate or tell anybody how I think they Should behave. But most people I come inton contact with seem to feel it is alright to do this to me, in the spirit of "helping, which make me feel bullied, and so on in a vicious cycle.
Aikido training is helping me to learn to Not assert myself,to let the crap come right on in, let my feelings be what they are, and Get off my Position when feeling threatened.
