Now, this is what I call aikido

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqzEMmkLAhE

Edgar Kruyning, direct student of Minoru Mochizuki and Hiroo Mochizuki as well as Yoshio Sugino, author of The Art of Jujutsu and several other books. Now in his early 40s, he's done nothing but budo since age 14.

Actually, the aikido is more mainstream than I'm used to. I don't think he does a single sutemi waza.

But this is one magnificent aikido demonstration, to my eyes, and it exemplifies all the best qualities of aikido.

Best to all.
