Aikido and BJJ Seminar, Monterey, CA, Nov. 10th

I will be conducting an Aikido and BJJ seminar November 10th, at Yosokan Dojo in Monterey, California.

There will be a 2 hour morning session will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a lunch break until 1:30, and another 2 hour session until 3:30.

The morning will consist of technical instruction on the mechanics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques, including armlocks, sweeps, and chokes.

The afternoon will link together standing techniques from aikido and aiki-jujutsu with BJJ ground techniques. One example would be kotegaeshi into a straight armlock. It they choose to resist the kotegaeshi and spin to their knees, the follow up would then change to a clock choke, rolling choke, or anaconda.

Space is limited pre-registration required! Please contact Shihan James Cambell at yosokandojo@sbcglobal.net, or by calling the dojo directly at (831) 375-7551.

Best,

Roy Dean
