YouTube: Hiroshi Tada, 52nd All Japan Aikido Demonstrations, 2014

Here's an aikido video of Hiroshi Tada (9th dan, Aikikai Hombu Dojo) at the 52nd All Japan Aikido Demonstrations in May, 2014.

What are your thoughts on this video?

As he is the most senior ranked instructor in the Hombu Dojo I looked at this with interest. Maybe it is me, but I wonder if his demonstration is intended to point out what he, or Aikikai feels is important to focus on. I say that because many of the instructors where I am do these techniques regularly when we train (excepting the jo and bokken practice).
