John Messores-sensei at Aikido of Northern Virginia

Greetings All,

Aikido of Northern Virginia is pleased to announce our 2018 Kagami Biraki seminar with John Messores-sensei, 7th dan. This seminar will also celebrate our dojo's first year in its new space in the Social Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington. The dojo is a few blocks from the Ballston-MU Metro Station (Orange and Silver Lines), and there is ample parking for those who drive.

Classes will meet on Friday evening, January 19, from 6:30 - 8:30, and Saturday morning, January 20, from 9:00 - 11:00. Weapons may be used. The seminar fee is $40 ($20 per class), payable at the door. Advance registration is not necessary. This seminar is open to aikidoka of all ranks and affiliations.

Please join us for some intensive training with one of Mitsugi Saotome-sensei's most senior deshi. Please contact me if you need any additional information.

See you on the mat!

Jim Sorrentino

I mistrust all systematizers and I avoid them. The will to a system is a lack of integrity. Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols
