Hello,
can anyone tell me if there are more than two Aikido Dojos in Nashville?
I only found Nashville Aikikai dojo and Aikido at BuShin Dojo.

I wouldn't worry if you don't find a lot of other options, as both schools you have mentioned are reputable Saotome (ASU) schools/instructors. Try both; pick the one that feels like the best fit.

Thank you. The point is that they are a little bit far away from me and expensive.

$75 to $85/mo is pretty typical in many areas of USA. Around here its more like $100/mo. Rent and utilities, insurance, etc have to be paid even in dojo where the teachers are all unpaid.

Janet
After paying the bills there is never much left for anything else.
I have had a few students ask for ``free sample lessons `` to see if they like it.....I just tell them to go to MacDonalds and ask for a free meal, just to see if they like it ..

There are, I believe, independent dojos in Spring Hill and Smyrna, if that is closer. As for fees, as Janet has pointed out, the ASU schools are at pretty much the going rate. Any less, and you are probably going to be looking at schools that only train one or two days a week.
