Website: http://www.aikiweb.com
It looks like AikiWeb just passed its three millionth homepage views earlier today, 29. October, 2003. The site received its first hit on 1. August, 1997 and reached its one millionth homepage view on 16. March, 2001 -- 1,323 days later. Reaching the two millionth homepage view milestone took an additional 604 days on November 10, 2002, and reaching its three millionth homepage view took only 353 days. Thank you, everyone who has supported this site!

Thanks so much for your well wishes and thoughts! I appreciate them.

That means that it'll probably get another million in about 180 days more or less.
Btw, how much is this all costing you? How do you offset the costs?

Hi Ahmad,
As far as costs go, it's been pretty much out of my own pocket since 1997. I've been able to offset a small bit since last year with the T-shirts, donations, and such in the AikiStore, but not by much.
It's more a labor of love, you might say...

Lets see... first 1M happened at 1,200 days, 2M at 1800 days, 3m at 2100 days... a geometric growth rate! At this rate, expect a million website hits a day in about a year or so from now (2400 days) Of course, watch out that the billions of daily hits happening within a month of that don't crash the site... *grin*
Don't you love making nonsensical predictions based solely on data trends?
