Bokken & Jo Kata Videos

Does anyone know of a good video(s) that covers the following Aiki Jo & Aiki Ken Katas and movements that are used by "Aikido Association of America"?

Jo basic strikes
Bokken basic strikes
Sword vs. Sword techniques
Jo vs. Sword techniques
Bokken Kata 1 - First sword form: 13 movements ("Happo Giri", cutting in eight directions)
Bokken Kata 2 - Second sword form, 13 movements
Jo Kata 1 - First staff form; 22 movements
Jo kata 2 - Second staff form - 22 movements

Thanks,

Jason

Re: Bokken & Jo Kata Videos

AAA has not produced any videos showing showing their Jo and Bokken kata. They have a DVD out that is a memorial DVD for Toyoda Sensei. You might see him do something on there but it will not be instructional. Some of the AAA dojos might have produce something on their own.

Re: Bokken & Jo Kata Videos

I have found a couple of Saito videos that are very good. Saito Sensei really broke the techniques down in each kata and explained where the attacker should be at the time.

Re: Bokken & Jo Kata Videos

The dojo has videos, so it sounds like that would be my best bet. I just wanted to get them on dvd so I could play them back on my laptop when I practiced in the garage. I really appreciate your responses and I'm glad to see so many people willing to help someone out. I hope I can help contribute to your efforts.

Thank You.

When I went for my Shodan in weapons, the Saito tapes were very helpful. His system of dan promotion is usually on the tapes also. Most weapon affiliated schools use Saito's standards for their promotions.
