Hey gang,
is there anyone who understands Japanese fluently? Can someone translate what Steven Seagal is saying in the opening sequence in "Above the Law?" Where he is in his dojo, speaking to his students?
Many thanks,
Matt
Something like
- aiki means to become one (with your uke)
- it doesn't matter if he comes with a punch, grab or kick. It still comes on that line. Now you try it! Become one with your partner.
-He comes with yokomen. I only need to stay away from this angle here. Like this. Then cut down like this.
Or something like that. It has been a while since I saw it. But I kind of remembered it to be like that.
