A new review has been posted in the AikiWeb Video database:
============================
Video Title: The Art of Aikido, #2: Basic Technique
Video Author: Furuya, Kensho

Review author: James Giles
Rating given: 5 (out of 5)

Review:
As a beginning student in Aikido, I have found this video to be very helpful in conjunction with my training in the dojo.
Furuya Sensei demonstrates in great detail various techniques that can be used against a KATATE TORI attack: kotegaeshi (several versions), iriminage, ikkyo, nikkyo, sankyo, yonkyo, gokyo, and shihonage. Both omote and ura versions are demonstrated for most of the techniques. Common mistakes are also emphasized.
I would recommend this video for all beginning Aikido students and I think that many advanced Aikido students would find it useful as well, because of the variations of each technique that are introduced by Furuya Sensei. I am looking forward to purchasing more of his videos in the future.
