Budo Secrets by John Stevens

You know, I haven't been much of a fan of John Stevens. However, I think, as I start to catch on to this stuff a little, I'm starting to get where he's coming from and beginning to enjoy it.

Now, I couldn't tell a good translation from a hole in the ground. Nor, could I tell a true budo story from a good translation.

In any case, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. True or not. Good translation or not. I finished this book and felt good.

Further, there were some things he touched on that were recently on my mind...kind of put them to rest for me. And that's real good.

Decent read. Worth the visit.

I enjoyed all his books, but this one is also a favorite of mine.
