Paul, as a partner in a longtime "mixed marriage" (aikido/nonaikido), I can say you have expressed it well--your "too sad" brought me a broad smile.
The worst part of on-the-mat injury is contemplating how to break the news at home.....

Beautiful, Paul. Like Janet's my husband doesn't do aikido either although he does pitch in to help out at the dojo. Here's to those wonderful spouses who support our aikido addictions.
