Question kids' class hints

I have to fill in for a Kids class in a couple of weeks

I know that there are some old threads around on teaching kids, aikido games, etc. Can somone put a link into those threads for me? I am not computer savvy enough to know how to search over the aikiweb site (if youw ant to explain that as well it would be appreciated!)

Thanks!

Re: kids' class hints

Hi Henry

Here are a few that I found with a search (haven't read through them so I'm not sure how relevant they are).

http://www.aikiweb.com/wiki/kids

http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10127

http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9601

To search all I did was to go to the menu bar just at the top of the thread and select the option that says 'Search'. In the box that popped up I typed in 'kids class' and hit enter. Other search terms to try might be kids training, childrens class child training etc. etc.

Good luck

Re: kids' class hints

Henry, a lot of information will drive you nuts and most likely defeat your purpose. If control is a fear or a problem, resort to the saving grace of suwari waza technique. You might be surprised.

In gassho,
Mark
