French speaking aikdoka needed!

I am trying to contact any aikidoka out there who are:

Fluent in French and English.
Interested in translating a few aikido related articles.

On a more general note, I'm surprised at how few French aikidoka post on Aiki Web - given the quantity and quality of aikido there. I guess there are French language forums elsewhere. Is anyone familiar with these?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Re: French speaking aikdoka needed!

I studied in a bilingual school/highscool (spanish/french ) for 14 years but it's been a while since a stoped speaking french .If that`s ok with you we can try and see how does it work , why don`t you send me one of your articles and I`ll try to translate it for you ?? .I`m unemployed right now so I have plenty of time .

Re: French speaking aikdoka needed!

Hi Mark
Yes, there are a lot of aikido forums in French, which is probably why there are not that many of us on aikiweb. Well, I nonetheless suspect many French do read aikiweb but are too shy to post in English.
I am used to translate from English into French - I am OK to help with an article if it's not too long.
Best
Anne

Re: French speaking aikdoka needed!

Hi Anne,

Thanks for the info and offer. What are some of the big French speaking forums/websites. I found the FFAAA forum.

Warmly,
Mark
