Budo, kamae, O sensei's movement

Hi all,

Following a previous discussion at http://www.aikidosangenkai.org/blog/...-kamae-part-2/

A new series of questions to John Stevens and further analysis of O sensei's movement:
http://www.aikidotakemusu.org/en/art...eis-movement-1

Remember people, I'm just the messenger, I will not answer any questions here, just thought you could be interested to read…

Enjoy and share.

Re: Budo, kamae, O sensei's movement

"The series of articles that begins here is the key to the door that separates the Saito method (the suburi practice of Aikido) and the Founder's Aikido."

Now that's provocative! I wonder whether Philippe Voarino, a long-time student of Saito Sensei and whose seminars the site advertises, would be happy to follow that train of thought...

P.Voarino being the author of the articles.
This article may be useful in that respect: http://www.aikidotakemusu.org/en/articles/passage
Along with that series:http://www.aikidotakemusu.org/en/rubriques/205 (about Saito sensei's method)

Ah, it wasn't at all clear who was the author. Interesting article.

Do you know the source of the quote "The irimi of Aikido is the result of an invisible rotation of the vertical axis of the body on itself"?

Alex
