Question Aikido in Istanbul, Turkey?

Hello All,

I'm going to be traveling to Istanbul in a few weeks and am hoping to train a bit while I am there. I've tried emailing some dojo's, but haven't heard back yet, so I'm putting this out to the forum...
Does anyone know of a dojo in Istanbul, Turkey on the eastern side of the Ataturk Bridge?

A bit about me in case it's helpful: I'm ranked 5th kyu, have been training in San Francisco, CA for about 2 years, and this will be my first time in Istanbul.

Thanks in advance.

Take care,
wdb

Re: Aikido in Istanbul, Turkey?

Hi, I live and train (ikkyu) in Istanbul...I can answer all of your questions about your visit in Istanbul, feel free to send me a message.
If you have a map, I train at a dojo close to Uskudar (Anatolian Side-on the coastal line, opposite side of Besiktas)...the dojo is also close to Atatürk Bridge (known as Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul)...sure I could help you to find any other dojos.
Could you write more clearly where you will accomodate during your visit, because Istanbul is a very large city and finding a dojo close to you would be easier.
Take care and enjoy your visit.
Bülent
