books
I have several books that discuss the basics of aikido. I've read several of John Stevens' books, and a few of the books by Kisshomaru Ueshiba. the books on tecniques are good, but they are really only good as a supplement to my training. I use them as I learn the different tecniques in class. but I'm looking for more books on the underlying philosophy, the martial arts that Aikido was derrived from, and exercises that would be good to do by myself in between classes. Or, if you have a book recomendation of any kind. has anybody found a particular book inspirational? list it. I'm just interested in getting a list of reccomended reading together.
