Ledyard at Bedford Hills, New York

I will be at my friend's (Marc Abrams) dojo in New York March 7th - 9th if anyone can make it. It's the first time I will have taught in the New York area, should be fun!

If anyone can make it, I will be focusing on a systematic exposition of the principles of aiki. Elements from my teachers Saotome Sensei and Ikeda Sensei will be augmented by by insights from Kuroda Sensei, Ushiro Sensei, Toby Threadgill, William Gleason, the Systema folks and others. The intention is to give people a concrete set of principles which govern all technique so that they will know how to look at when they train with high level teachers. The goal is to create a conceptual framework which will help make all of your training more productive.
