Another record year (sea/arctic ice volume)

Due to long established media blackout and media misinformation, delusional AGW denial posts will be ignored in advance.

Another record low today in ice area.

Notice the more important metric of volume is on a steeper exponential decline.

Re: Another record year (sea/arctic ice volume)

Not to mention that pretty much the entire Greenland subcontinent experienced surface thawing this year...

Re: Another record year (sea/arctic ice volume)

It only took four days for Greenland to melt, unprecedented.

Interesting to note, all the worst case scientific predictions on global warming have come short of our actual current rate.

Re: Another record year (sea/arctic ice volume)

As a result of the climate change we see lots of animals and plants moving north. Here in Europe there are plants and animals thriving that were rarely seen a decade a go. Nature is changing fast.
I know that the salmon has difficulty in reproducing, in most European countries it has become almost impossible, due to the temperature rising. It would be interesting to see how the changes in the arctic sea has an effect on wildlife there.

Thanks for that link to David Wasdell. Interesting comment on how politicians use scientific data.

Not very assuring for the future though.
