Hakama problem, please help!

I recently ordered a Deluxe Polyester hakama from Tozando and was very happy with the quality upon receiving it. After wearing it for the first time, I found out that width is a little wider than my Bujin hakama and it creates two annoying flaps on the side. Have anyone encountered this problem before? I e-mailed Tozando and they said they'll fix it but it'd cost me about $60 something to ship it to and from. Are there any places in southern Cali that i could get my hakama fixed for less or my best bet is to send it back to Tozando. Please help. Thank you.

Look for a japanese or korean tailor. They should be able to fix it..

That would be my suggestion as well. Sorry to hear about that. I had one that was a bit wider in the front then my bujin and didn't have that problem, but maybe my hips corrected that? Best of luck fixing it.... $60 and the waiting time would suck.

Not to my knowledge, i remembered ordering men's. I really liked their hakama with the aiki koshita and extended front, they closed before i had a chance to order another one
