Children's Summer Aikido Camp

I am planning a camp curriculum for a summer school program. The kids will meet with me 3 hours each day for one week.

I anticipate 10-20 kids, ages 9-14. Most of whom have little or no aikido experience.

I'm planning on playing lots of games which deal with aspects of aiki principles such as attention, focus, and cooperation. I plan to teach techniques such as shiho nage, tenchinage, and kaitennage. I'd also like to share videos of Osensei and other senseis.

How would some of you structure that time? What would some of you choose to focus on? What suggestions for techniques or videos do you have?

I'd appreciate any input you would share.

Thanks,

Bill
