Doshu Succession

It may be politically incorrect, but if Koichi Tohei had become the Doshu after O Sensei, who would be in line for the role now that he has retired?

That might be a matter of some conjecture. Politics notwithstanding, I would guess it would be whomever is designated to do so by the outgoing Doshu (Tohei Sensei already has his son, Shinichi Sensei, administering Ki no Kenkyukai). I can't say, however, if hereditary claims could be made by others, and there would, I'd presume, need to be some endorsement by Aikikai.
