Farm+Budo=?
Hi everybody! I would like to ask if someone knows a specific japanese word that is the connection between "Farming" and "Budo". I know I read it somewhere, I didn`t memorized and now I need it I just can`t get it! Thanks so much for your help. Good practice.

MUSUBI?
TAKEMUSU AIKI?
Probably not. FWIW, Peter Goldsbury has addressed the connection between the two in a very interesting post, but it was a while ago, and I don't recall if it was here, aikidojournal, or e-budo. They all have search functions, though. I'd hold off from all that work for a while to see if someone here can come up with the answer.
Good luck.

I think that was in a discussion with David V. on aikido journal. Pretty sure, anyway.
Hey Don! Long time no type...

Re: Farm+Budo=?
Greetings!
Regarding Aikido and Farming:
This is from Aikido Journal
Aiki-En: Budo and Farming
The Founder had three major plans in mind when he declared this cottage to be the birthplace of aikido. The first was to construct an aiki shrine. The second was to create an outdoor dojo. And the third was to live his ideal of budo and farming. It was his final wish in Iwama to realize these three goals as “Aiki-En” (Aiki Farm).
The whole article is here:
http://www.aikidojournal.com/article?articleID=351
I clearly remember fumbling around trying to plant rice in a local Iwama field as Saito Sensei looked on with an overbearing smile on his face! Saito Sensei loved working the land, but preferably with people who knew what they were doing...
In Aiki,
Ethan

Thanks, Ron.

Yeah. Two reasons: 1) Some of the longer threads on TANREN and Chinese corellates discuss things I'm not really familiar with. Maybe if I was together with folks so I could grab them and feel what they mean...
2) The level of knowledge on the boards has increased geometrically since I first began lurking and posting, and I don't seem to have much to add these days. (Plus, I went through a period of about two years where I was reading about this stuff almost exclusively, and I'm not doing that now.)
Great development, great communities!
Thanks again for this one, Jun!
...And thanks for the holler, Ron.
