Why? (Blog posts as new thrreads)

With no disrespect intended, directed or attached to anyone ...but if, I wanted to read or follow a blog after the initial thread or post, I would go to that blog and read it.

Why does the repetitious or chronological blog entry(s) appear as a new thread..Why?

I am just curious, no offense intended.
