New Dojo in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK

On Monday September 13th 2004, a new dojo will be opening in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England. It has taken us a year to get it off the ground but we have finally made it. Thanks to a new initiative from the government, Fire Stations have had to become 'community minded'. With that in mind, we approched our local fire station and have struck up a partnership. We are looking forward to opening and hope that if you are in the area, you will pay us a visit.

Hi,

How exactly has you partnership with the Fire Brigade helped?

Do they have facilities you use?

David.

Hi David,

We found that sports halls and schools were not very helpful when they found out we had or needed mats. The Fire Station has a very large area that they are letting us use. We can also store our mats, use the facilities and it is central to Nuneaton. They have been very helpful to use and very friendly.

Jane
