Re: Fujita Shihan 8th Dan in the Philippines

Sounds interesting! I missed to travel northern part of Luzon while staying in the philippines. Btw, there's a typo.

Docho of DSAS Group Philippines

=> DOJOCHO of DSAS Group Philippines

Thanks, but's that not a typo. Batobalani Sensei uses the term "Docho" instead of Dojocho because he heads a group of dojos, not just one. I guess it is similar to Kaicho or Kancho, but because Sensei did not found his own movement, he uses the term "Docho".
Hope to see you in Urdaneta, January 20-22!

Literally Docho means the head of an Art. It's more like Doshu. I think Kaicho is proper in that case. Anyway I'll try to visit. but still not sure. kasi wala akong pera. he he.

Sorry about that Jaemin, you are indeed correct. I was just reviewing the latest materials from Sensei, and he indeed uses "Dojocho". I guess the previous materials did have a typo! Thanks for the correction!

Walang pera? The seminar is quite affordable, only PHP 2,500 (2,250 for early registrants) which works out to around US$45! For a three-day seminar with Fujita Shihan and Batobalani Sensei! Just find an inexpensive way to get to the Philippines!

Salamat Po!

Re: Fujita Shihan 8th Dan in the Philippines

At the moment we don't have a dojo in Tarlac. Our dojos are in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan (Headquarters and National Spiritual Training Center); Quezon City, and Bacolod City.

Hope to see you in Urdaneta on Jan 20, 2006!

Re: Fujita Shihan 8th Dan in the Philippines

Moriya Hideki, Aikido 5th Dan Aikikai, to join DSASGP Official Launch and Commemorative Seminar

The DSASGP Official Launch and Commemorative Seminar Featuring Fujita Masatake Aikido 8th Dan Aikikai and R Jun Batobalani Aikido 6th Dan Aikikai, will also be graced by Moriya Hideki, Aikido 5th Dan, of the Aikikai Hombu.

This means that the commemorative seminar will feature a truly powerhouse line-up of instructors, the likes of which has not been seen before in the history of Aikido in the Philippines. With Fujita Shihan 8th Dan, Batobalani Sensei 6th Dan, Moriya Sensei 5th Dan, and Balani Sensei 4th Dan as the featured instructors, the commemorative seminar on January 20-22, 2006, should not be missed!

Van, do you maintain the Makati Aikido Club Website? Would appreciate it very much if you would be so kind as to include the Fujita Shihan Seminar in the calendar. Thanks very much.
