Re: kamiza

The first link is a Shinto Shrine in North America that makes shrine supplies available. The latter is obvious.

Hope this helps!

Re: kamiza

Hi Graham,

Have you tried doing a Google Images search for kamiza, to see some examples? I've seen a lot of different kamiza, and while they have common elements, I think most also have something unique about them (for example, using some design elements or construction materials from the dojo's home area). If you get some ideas about what you'd like your kamiza to look like, perhaps you could talk to some local craftspeople (or to dojo members who have these skills) about building a kamiza that is special for your dojo.

Re: kamiza

Graham,

Try Nine Circles. http://www.ninecircles.co.uk/

They're in the UK and have several options to help you build a suitable Kamiza, whether you want the Shinto specific house for the Kami or just want a more non religious one. You can also buy other aikido related paraphernalia from them.

Re: kamiza

Hi Graham,

I'd get in touch with Steve from Esteem Wood Design if I were you.

http://www.esteemwooddesign.co.uk/gallery.html

He made me a weapons stand and it is stunning and then some - solid Cherry Wood - I'll try and take some pics.

Best Regards,
John
