New location

Hello everyone,

We have just moved the dojo from a small city in Michigan, to a slightly bigger one about ten miles away. Our new location is 432 N. Hewitt Road in Ypsilanti, in case anyone wants to stop in and say hi.

I miscalculated my mat sizes, and have ended up with less training space than I expected, but the space still looks and feels good.

Please join in and wish us much success and wonderful training in our new space.

best regards,

Rachel Massey

Thanks folks! The new location was partly the result of the poll I put, and results I placed, on this site. In retrospect, had I figured my mat sizes correctly (sorry Chris for not listening to you and being a stubborn person), I might not have taken it. Maybe though, this is as it should be, and the space will turn out to be perfect for us.

This morning we do zazen at the dojo for the first time. I can't think of a better way to bring good vibes into the dojo. Tomorrow we hold our first class.

I'll keep you updated over time on how the location and the smaller mat space (only 16 feet wide, I had figured 18!) works.

best,
