Article: "Aikido Offers Combined Benefits for Mind, Body"

Posted 2005-10-05 09:22:44 by Jun Akiyama
News URL: http://thepost.baker.ohiou.edu/F.php...F2&date=100505

Here's an article entitled, "Aikido Offers Combined Benefits for Mind, Body" on an aikido class taught by Danny Yahini in Athens, Ohio. The article starts, "Danny Yahini's socks swish against the matted floor as he demonstrates eight directions, an Aikido martial arts exercise intended to defend against three to four attackers using 360-degree vision."

Re: Article: "Aikido Offers Combined Benefits for Mind, Body"

Women with dance experience get aikido easier? Does he mean AFTER they have learned how to drop their centers from their solar plexus to their haras? Or does he mean the ones who can sight-read a technique and go through the motions after watching once?
