Ai symbol Children's Instruction Seminars

Has anyone ever heard of, or discussed here on AikiWeb, having a seminar on methods, tricks, hints, challenges, precautions, etc. of teaching aikido for children?

I'd be very interested in attending such a gathering, so much so that if nobody's doing anything like this, I may try to talk my Sensei into hosting something at our dojo.

There is a VHS tape out on teaching children Aikido, by Seattle Aikikai, Bruce Bookman I believe.

Question Re: Children's Instruction Seminars

Thank you. Apparently, Michael Freidl has a VHS tape out, too, called The Joy of Teaching Children.

Anyone viewed these? There weren't any reviews in the video reviews section.

Re: Children's Instruction Seminars

At the recent Aiki Extensions conference a group shared their ideas for working with children. A larger gathering for instructors interested in this area may well be on the way.

More soon, please send me your mail address.

~PS - Paul Linden of Columbus was one of the group and would be well worth connecting with if you're not already.
