For Sale: Custom Carved Tanto Bokken
For sale, a tanto bokken I carved from mahogany. It depicts "Shrike On A Withered Branch" by Musashi on one side, and a monk in clifftop meditation on the other, with the Japanese symbol for "wind" on the kashira. There are brass accents included on each side, and the entire piece is finished in subtly-colored stains and varnishes.
Dimensions: 9-1/4" nagasa, 3/4" habaki/tsuba, 4-7/8" tsuka, oa length just shy of 15".
This is my second bokken, and I'd like to see if there's interest enough for me to do more. I'm asking $65 U.S., including shipping, but I'll consider reasonable offers. Please PM me if interested.
