I voted "Very Helpful". I have my kyu tests on tape and after the testing I look at it and realize "Sensei was right! I really do lean over, etc.!!!". Sensei telling you what you're doing wrong is one thing but to actually SEE it yourself is even better.

Vital.

Especially when you reach a point when your Sensei starts to accept you for who you are and doesn't correct every little quirk in your posture, center, stance, timing etc.

People get used to each other and accept differences. When you see what you really look like it enforces the good and makes you aware of the so-so.

If you don't use this tool you are missing out on a vital training technique.

Although I voted that I have never been videoed because, err, I have never been videoed, I have taken and viewed video of grade assessments and also taken/ edited and viewed training material. I found that viewing the material was very interesting and I am sure that my understanding/conception and performance of techniques were all enhanced. I do believe that my involvement in the production was a positive factor and perhaps just viewing a piece of video material may not be as helpful.
