Chatham Mass.

I have a dojo mate who has just moved from London to Chatham (MA). No hope of doing Shodokan Aikido but still enthused enough to vary a bit. Any recommendations.

Re: Chatham Mass.

The closest aikido of any kind is probably these folks:
http://www.shobuaikidoofcapecod.com/

The instructor, Larry Murray, is one of William Gleason's students and an all around good person.

Re: Chatham Mass.

Shobu Aikido of Cape Cod is in Barnstable, MA, slightly more than a half hour from Chatham. Is that too far?

A pity indeed -- you won't find anything closer. The Cape is somewhat geographically isolated and does not have the kind of year-round population that can support many dojos.
