Hey Mikel,

Welcome from Nashville, Tn and enjoy your stay.

Harmony does not mean that there are no conflicts,
for the dynamic spiral of existence embraces both extremes.

Re: Hi from Spain

Mikel,

Asking a swedish if there is iwama style aikido there is like asking a irish if they drink beer in Eire

Sweden is probably the place with more iwama style dojos in Europe.

Re: Hi from Spain

Aikido started i Sweden in the late sixties. Then Saito sensei send one off his students Tomita sensei and Tomita started teaching Iwama stile. In 1969 open Göteborgs aikidoklubb http://www.goteborgs-aikidoklubb.org/ that now leads Ulf Evenås sensei. But back then even Zeth Moberg, John Patrik Johnsen, Pia Moberg and Jan Bratt were part off the same club but now they have there own clubs here in Gothenburg. Lars Göran (Lasse) Anderson was also the one that started the club, but now he moved to northern Sweden and open there another dojo. Then the students off these people started another dojos in other parts in Sweden. So that´s the short story
