My cousin studied Taekwondo for many years, achieving his black belt, and i asked what he did for his grading, he apparently had to break a wooden boards with different kinds of kicks... he obviously wasn't interested in Taekwondo after that because he left!

And here I came into this thread all ready to defend my TKD bretheren from back in the day.....

I find it interesting that the kanji character for kuzushi illustrates a mountain falling on a house.

Can I ask what you did for your grading's in Taekwondo, I'm just curious because I don't want to go around assuming Taekwondo is ineffective because of one person's grading!

Well, shoot. Be more specific. At the color belt stage, or at dan rank stage?

both?? because I'd to know how Taekwondo grades work, I don't like making judgements about stuff I don't know much about, ha, I'm sure most of us here don't and would just like to know what you did for any of your grading's so I can get a bit more understanding about it, than you.
