Smile New aikiJapan GI

Hi

I'm just starting back at Aikido after a long lay off looking to replace my old GI. I live in FL so I want to go ultra lightweight. Saw this one. On aikiJapan website

http://aikido-japan.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=217

But it has a rear seam. Never had a gi with a seam in the back before. Does anyone have any reason why not to buy this one

Thanks

Mark.

Re: New aikiJapan GI

I don't know that one. I just ordered a waffle gi from Tozando and can let you know how that turns out when it gets here. Its supposed to be lighter weight... Currently, in the summer I mostly use a high quality, brushed cotton, karate gi...

Re: New aikiJapan GI

I bought their lightweight one and I love it. http://aikido-japan.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=197

The only thing is that the gi is stiff the first 2 classes, try to wash it 2 times so it will get a bit lighter. The one you posted is probably higher quality, so if you have the money, go for it.
