Manogue Sensei Oct. 9th, 2010

Paul Manogue Sensei is very well known at Aikikai of Philadelphia. He has been the Iaido instructor at our dojo for nearly twenty years but is being presented by Henry Smith Shihan because he is less well known as an Aikidoka. He began in Yoshinkan and then later joined Aikikai and brings a unique interpretation tempered by his sword expertise, long residencies in Japan and dedicated study. He is someone not to be missed, especially by anyone who celebrates the relationship of sword to aikido technique.

Re: Manogue Sensei Oct. 9th, 2010

Seminar was one of the most challenging and informative that I have experienced. The contrast of the classes particularly inspired a re-examination of my technique.

That's so cool! If you had time and inclination, details would likely be appreciated here.
