Question Iwata Shokai keikogi

Onegaishimasu,

Has anyone ordered gi from Iwata Shokai before? It's difficult to see the details from their pictures but I was thinking of giving them a try. Specifically the #200S unbleached gi.

Price wise they are more than what is locally available but of better quality (which really wouldn't be hard). The other benefit I'm drawn to is they appear to do a couple of width fittings for each length size. I have short legs proportionate to my hips and shoulders so this is a plus!

Would you care to share your experience with their products?

Thanks in advance.

Go gentle

Re: Iwata Shokai keikogi

I live in Japan and I have bought 2 sets of keikogi (miyabi, long size, which means the legs and arms are the same as the next biggest size), bokken and tanto from Iwata Shoten. I like their products very much.

I went to the store to buy the tanto, and it was a very old fashioned business where the customer stays in the genkan entry and the staff bring the goods out to you for your inspection.
