Aikido of Harvard is hosting a wondeful weekend seminar with two of the American "hidden treasures" of Aikido, Clyde Takeguchi (Shihan of Capital Aikikai) and Ken Purdy Sensei (Yondan from Northern Wisconsin Aikido). The seminar is being held in Harvard, IL on November 10th, 11th and 12th, 2006. Please see website for details.

Re: Aikido of Harvard Hosts Takeguchi Sensei & Purdy Sensei 11/10-12

Hi,

Clyde Takeguchi is a great teacher who explains complicated concepts in a very clear manner. Ken Purdy, whom I have not yet met, was a student at the Aikikai Honbu while O`Sensei was teaching there. Terry Leonard, the dojo-cho at Aikido of Harvard, is one of the nicest people I have met in the Aikido world, and his students are very friendly and helpful. Need any more reasons to attend this seminar? The dojo is very beautiful!
