I could've gone through the day without having to look at that.

A bit too late, but I apologize for my choice of words...

I guess I was too focused on the background than on the 'practitioners'

Wink not that bad......

Joezer,

nice try.

And besides, grasshoppers and so forth have a natural tendency to kick.

Shame about the misplaced Aikido logic.

How about stag horn beetles doing sumo?

Or praying mantis doing Iaido...?

or even move outside the insect world.

hmmmm. Like dogs doing tenkan (while chasing tail)

Warmest,

Jamie Stokes

PS the grasshoppers may be doing TKD

My puppy is very good at tenkan. She teases the other dog by going up to her with a stick, when the older dog tries to grab it the puppy turns. The older dog will chase and chase but can't get the stick because she's on the outside of the circle and has to run farther

p.s. When my adult dog was a puppy she flipped me onto my back. I tried to catch her as she ran between my legs. She didn't stop and I didn't let go. She pulled my torso and head right down and through my legs. Then she stomped on my face because I was lying there laughing and not playing with her
