Ai symbol Konnichi wa !

my name is Christine Schmidt and I am a german Aikidoka, instructor and member of "Aikido 3A Germany" (Aikido 3A Deutschland), a member organization of "Kokusai Aikido Kenshukai Kobayashi Hirokazu Ha" (KAKKHH), the International Academy of Research on Aikido of Kobayashi Hirokazu Shihan.

Our Aikido teacher Walter Oelschläger Shihan is rather fond of travelling and there are also some others with me who like to follow him practising Aikido in beautiful surroundings. Beeing frequently on the way with Oelschläger Shihan we get chances not only to experience Aikido in a very esthetic way but also to catch special photographic impressions. It's like celebrating .

So, why not sharing some beautiful impressions with other Aikidoka. Thought, AikiWeb could be a suitable location ...

regards,
Christine

Re: Konnichi wa !

Hi Christine,
welcome! There did not seem to be any Aikido in Bad Boll when my wife was working there, are you a comparatively new club? We used to train with your organisation in Esslingen every now and then some years ago.

I think Kobayashi Hirokazus Aikido is sort of underrepresented on aikiweb, so its good to have you here.

Schönen Sonntag noch

Nicholas

Re: Konnichi wa !

Moin Christine,

nice to have you here!

Yes: Travelling and making friends indeed is a nice part of aikido! I will go to Stockholm tomorrow. I also enjoy this very much!

@ Nicholas:
Isn't Esslingen a dojo of the DAB? Maybe I will meet Robby in Sweden. I assume, you know him?

In der Tat: Schönen Sonntag weiterhin!

Carsten

Re: Konnichi wa !

dear Nicholas and Carsten,

yes - Nicholas is right, we have started Aikido classes in Bad Boll in May 2011.
We moved from a place in Göppingen where we have practised Aikido for 12 years. Nice to hear, that somebody in this forum knows Bad Boll, what is really a small place in the world.

In Esslingen there are actually three dojos already for many years. One belonging to the DAB, and two of Aikido 3A Germany. One of the latter is a section of KSV Esslingen and the other a free group offering central special training facilities for Aikido with stick and sword.

Regards to Robby. We met some years ago in Esslingen. And have a nice seminar in Sweden.
