Regarding "the Man in the high castle", there was interesting discussion here in aikiweb regarding the first episode of the series. It so happens that George S. Ledyard sensei, who writes occasionally here in aikiweb was the person in charge of preparing the actress Alexa Davalos for the scence where she demonstrates aikido in the dojo. Actually, the charecter she plays (Juliana Crane) is an expreienced Judo practioner in the Philip K Dick novel.
