Steven Segal in Today's paper

I did give a moments thought as to whether I should lower myself, then thought what the hell, it made me chuckle

A difficult problem is easily solved by asking yourself the question, "Just how would the Lone Ranger handle this?"

Ah, the subtlety, the nuance of expression. Amazing.

LMAO....That is absolutely awsome! I love Steven Seagal, he was prolly my biggest influence for getting into Martial Arts, and still is....But this is just WAY to FUNNY!!!

Re: Steven Segal in Today's paper

Wait is this a joke? Do you guys know what people in the newspaper and fourms on the net say. They did a poll and he was number one in the most annoying martial arts movie star.

Re: Steven Segal in Today's paper

Wow James, you must really detest this guy. Shooting at him on two threads at once suggests that your feelings run awfully deep. I can only wonder why.....I don't particularly care as I've always found carrying that level of animosity is much like carrying around a hot anvil; far too much trouble for any benefit derived. It is your anvil though, do with it as you will.

Re: Steven Segal in Today's paper

I agree with Michael. You know, there is a buddhist story that this thread (and all the other ones about Steven Seagal) reminds me of:

Two buddhist monks walk down a street. Suddenly they find themselves standing in front of a large puddle of water, which covers the whole street. There is a woman standing in front of it, and she canīt pass the puddle because of the clothes she is wearing. The older monk picks her up and carries her accross the puddle, puts her down, wishes her a nice day and walks on.
Afterwards the two monks walk for a while until the younger monk turns to the older one and says to him angrily: "Why did you pick up that woman? We are not supposed to touch women!!!"
The older monk turns around to the younger one and says: "It is true: I picked up the woman and touched her. But I put her down behind the puddle - you are still carrying her."

The only reason why Seagal sensei gets so much attention is because people rant on about him all the time. If you find that he doesnīt deserve the attention - stop ranting.

And I might add that I find this kind of talking about somebody without them having the chance to answer rather disrespectful.

PS: Very nice link though

Re: Steven Segal in Today's paper

Remember you can't read people's emotions online. I don't hate Segall I just like talking smack about him. One of the things the internet if famous for is talking crap about people. Segall deserves all the attention he gets. For crying out loud he has his own herbal supplement drink thingie. I think I'll rent Under Siege tomorrow.
