congratulations shodan

2 of my students got there shodan at this years ukau summerschool, i know how hard it is and how hard you train to have to get there, so i would just like to say well done to steve and michael im very proud of you both and sorry i was not there to see it.

you can teach them the moves but its them that put there own aiki spirit into it and im sure our sensei is looking for that bit of magic in an aikidoka when he does the shodan exam, but thanks anyway

Well, thanx, and congrats to all the others, who have been out there with me, and of course to the new nidan and sandans, who also passed on the course.

Among others, yes. You probably know Carsten from Freiburg as well, and of course Zoran (he passed Sandan). I'm not sure, if you met any of the English, though.
