Talking An alternative appreciation of 'the Do'

Do, the stuff, that buys me beer!

Ray, the guy who sells me beer!

Me, the guy, who drinks the beer!

Fah, a long way to get beer!

So, I'll have another beer!

La (ts), and lots and lots of beer!

Tea, no thanks, I'll have a beer!

And that leaves me with no Do!

Bwa hahahahaha! Happy Friday Everyone...

michael.

Re: An alternative appreciation of 'the Do'

Something that my sensei related to me, something said by Saotome sensei as a means of learning tenshi nage: imagine that your hand is gripping a beer and pulling it up to take a drink. Saotome sensei called this "drinking biiru waza"

As for seiza, the most amusing experience I ever had was fortunately not an injury, but upon getting up from our wrist stretches (which we do in seiza) the entire class, senpai and all (save sensei) got up from seiza with a harmonious and audible groan. Apparently even the ones who have been doing it for years have trouble with it.
