Weird....

"Peter" seems to a bjj'er (lion killer, guard) so I'm surprised he would seek out something like that.

For a modest entry fee, he could have competed in any number of tournaments or been paid to fight as a professional by a promoter in a local event. Both seem to me that they would be not only "safer" --- no laws would be broken and medical staff would be nearby --- but a higher level of competition in general.

I wonder just how much aikido was used by the big guy Peter was beaten by. I'd imagine the guy was quite strong anyway and was shrugging off some of Peter's grapple attempts. Something he could have done without aikido.
