Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan @ Bond Street Dojo

I've just been advised that a few spaces are still available for this weekend's seminar with Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan at Bond Street Dojo in NY, in its beautiful new space at 214 West 29th Street, conveniently located near the PATH station, as well as the 1/9, A/C/E, and R Subway lines.

While Ikeda Sensei has long been an exemplary technician, his classes in the last couple of years have been as impressive for the careful way in which he not only demonstrates phenomenal technique, but provides a level of detailed and precise instruction in the underlying elements and training methods to make that technique possible that is truly exceptional.

The dojo also provides a lovely brunch between classes on Saturday and Happy Hour following afternoon practice.

All in all, a seminar not to be missed.

The training schedule is:

Friday, September 14th
5:30 pm Registration
6:30-8:00 pm Keiko

Saturday, September 15th
9:30 am Registration
10:30 am - 12:00 pm Keiko
Break/Brunch
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm Keiko
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm Happy Hour

Sunday, September 16th
9:30 am Registration
10:30 am - 12:30 pm Keiko

Fees After September 7th or at the door

* $120 weekend
* $45 Friday only
* $80 Saturday Only
* $55 Sunday Only

* Preference is given to those who attend the entire weekend.

In order to pre-register, call 212.477.0899 or send e-mail to aikido@bondstreet.org

That's well worth a bump. If I had the time and money, I'd attend. Unfortunately, in the next two months, I'm invested in two other seminars, one road trip for personal reasons, and a one-week seminar for work.

Hope you have a great time, though!

Mark
