New England Aikikai 2006 Spring Seminar

So this thing happens in Boston, March 17th, 18th, & 19th. As usual we will go with some good old friends.
However there is always a place to meet new friends from Aikiweb. If you like aikido as Budo (this time not only in words, but in real practice ) , don't hesitate anymore. The instructors are Kazuo Chiba Shihan, Claude Berthiaume Shihan, David Farrell Shidoin.

Excellent beer after practice.......anyone?

I'm coming down with two of my students. We'll be there for Saturday.

Re: New England Aikikai 2006 Spring Seminar

From the These Things Always Happen at the Same Time File: It sounds like great fun, but I can't make it: I will be having my brain fried by Sifu Dan Inosanto at a Kali/JKD seminar that very same weekend in the Metro New York area. It's part of his 70th Birthday Tour; I registered online a few weeks ago.

Guro Andy and I keep wondering who's pottier about seminars: The JKD Concepts world (Jun Fan/JKD, Kali, Silat sytems, Thai Boxing, Grappling, European Systems) or the Aikido world. We figure it's neck-and-neck. This proves it.

Don't forget that the 17th is St. Patrick's Day ("Drinking day," as one of the instructors at NEA called it). That's always a big event in Boston, and one more reason to go to the seminar for those who are into that sort of thing.
