Takeshi Yamashima Shihan at The Aikido Ohana in Honolulu

Alan Nagahisa and The Aikido Ohana are happy to invite all Aikido students to join in training with Takeshi Yamashima, 7th dan Aikikai on Friday, May 20th: 6:30pm~8:00pm and Sunday, May 22nd: 8:00am~9:30am. Please bring a dish and join us for a pot-luck dinner after training on Friday. There will be no mat fee for these classes. All students of Aikido, regardless of style or affiliation, are welcome. Takeshi Yamashima was a long-time student of Seigo Yamaguchi and was often assigned to attend O-Sensei during the last years of his life. He instructs at the Chiyoda-ku Aikikai, Minami Tanaka Dojo, and the Nerima Aikido Rengokai Dojo, and can usually be found at Aikikai Hombu morning practice. He is also licensed in Yagyu Shinkage Ryu. A group of his students will be accompanying him from Japan.
